Mindyourmind is a most outstanding projects. Its great quality had already been noted several years ago by the Stockholm Challenge. Its development and evolution since that time has surpassed the expectations that the earlier jury had. Now it has evolved even to include a professional site. Mindyourmind is a mental health intervention program focused on providing accurate information, resources and interactive coping tools for youth who are at risk of mental health disorders. Issues such as anorexia are discussed. Innovative approaches like human perspective to mental health are also considered. It is also available to youths which are confronting transitions in their lives. It includes personal stories, tool boxes, blogs but also contact with bands and music lists. Similar projects should start in all communities that do not have one. This Canadian project is very transferable. There is no doubt that Mindyourmind meets all the criteria of the Stockholm Challenge. It is an amazing, beautifully constructed and useful service. Congratulations to Mindyourmind for a job well done!

Akvo

Akvo addresses one of the keys to good health, that is water and sanitation. Today 2.6 billion people lack sanitation and 800 million can't access safe drinking water. Unsafe drinking water results in serious health issues. The contribution to development is thus outstanding. Akvo builds web and mobile phone tools for organizations working in development aid. Donors and social actors are directly connected for development and transformation, particularly where poverty is worst. Akvo allows donors to follow the projects they fund. As water sanitation improves, health will improve. Thus we mus congratulate Akvo for the excellent work done.
