In preparation for next year's award, we have revamped the Stockholms Challenge web site to make it more informative and easy-to-use. To further facilitate communication in the Challenge community, Stockholm Challenge is now present on Facebook, Linkedin as well as Twitter.

The final event of the Stockholm Challenge 2008 starts on Monday with a welcome meeting with the finalists in this year´s competition.

The Stockholm Challenge Award 2008 present 157 finalist projects in its six categories.

Stockholm March 25, 2008. The jury of the Stockholm Challenge Award has selected the 2008 finalists in six categories, a total of 145 outstanding ICT projects. They are presented on the Challenge Event site at http://event.stockholmchallenge.se per category.

"In this round of the Stockholm Challenge the bar has been set higher than ever and participants have responded magnificently" says Director Ulla Skidén.

Kuala Lumpur, 12 December 2007. The winners were selected from 119 entries as the best examples of Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships in ICT for Development. GKP will sponsor their participation in Stockholm Challenge Week in May 2008. Two of the four beautiful trophies went to Sri Lanka!
